Home Energy Services Ltd was formerly the Home Energy Services division of E.ON, you may see E.ON branded paperwork and engineers in E.ON vans and uniforms for a while.

Central Heating Care + Water – £22.50 per month

This package provides complete peace of mind as it protects of your central heating system and plumbing and drainage for your home.

You can relax knowing that if your heating or hot water stops working or your internal water pipes or drains get blocked - you have just one number to ring and a local engineer or plumber will be out to fix it. 

We’ll also do an annual service of your system to help keep it running as efficiently as possible.

Central Heating Care*:

Plumbing & Drainage Care† maintains and repairs inside your home:

  • Hot and cold water pipes from the mains stopcock inside your home leading to your taps (including garden taps) and up to the connection with the flexible pipes on your domestic appliances
  • Your cold water storage tank
  • Leaking overflow pipes
  • Pipes that burst as a result of cold weather
  • Standard ball valves and toilet siphon
  • Unblocking and repairing waste drainage pipes, or rainwater drains, within your property
  • The care plan includes parts, labour and repair up to a maximum of £1,000 pa including VAT
Key exclusions

Central Heating Care key exclusions plus:
  • Blockages caused by foreign objects
  • Repairing or unblocking drains shared with another property
  • Descaling of pipes or the replacement of consumable items
  • Repairing or replacing taps, shower heads, pumps and mixer valves
  • Maintenance or repair in initial 14 days

Central Heating Care FAQs

Can I pay for my Central Heating Care by Direct Debit?
Yes you can. All Central Heating Care, Plumbing & Drainage Care and Electrical Care products can be paid by a monthly Direct Debit. Paying by Direct Debit makes central heating maintenance more affordable because your payments are spread over a manageable period.
Will the engineer who carries out the maintenance on my boiler be trained by Home Energy Services?
Yes. All engineers will be trained by us to ensure that you get expert help with your central heating system. We want to provide peace of mind that any central heating or boiler maintenance carried out in your home will be done to our high standards.
What appointment slots are available when I book an annual service or initial inspection for my boiler?
We offer appointment slots to fit around your day. You can book a service appointment from 8am-12pm, 10am-2pm, 12pm-4pm, and 4pm- 8pm.
Will my central heating system be protected as soon as I purchase Central Heating Care?
Yes. Your details will be input onto our system as soon as we receive your bank details. This means that your Central Heating Care will start immediately and your boiler will be protected against costly maintenance bills. However if we do the initial inspection and find a fault that means we cannot protect your boiler, your contract will be cancelled and you will be entitled to a refund.
What should I do if the water pressure in my boiler has dropped?

My radiators have gone cold, how can I fix this?

What can I do if my boiler is working but my house is still cold?
You may want to check your central heating programmer is set to turn your heating on at the time of day that you want. You might want to also check the temperature gauge on your thermostat and reset it to a more comfortable setting. What can I do if my boiler shuts down in the middle of winter?
We would advise you to call out an engineer but before you do that you might want to check if your condensate pipe is frozen. This might be the cause of your boiler shutting down and you may be able to defrost it yourself.
